The Caison Company is excited to offer the screw in foundation solutions, which we feel addresses many of the hurdles we all encounter with smaller pathway bollard lighting systems foundations. Bollard lights are all too often put in too early before all final elevations have been established after field changes or too late, making it challenging to get concrete trucks to the locations efficiently. Heights are often incorrect and locations may need to be changed

We handle all trenching needs, including light pole bases, secondary services, signage, and telecom conduits. Excavation of Trenches, Backfilling in lifts, and Compaction included.
We can install your supplied conduit or provide all necessary materials. We utilize pull strings for easy wire installation to make your final wire pull go smoothly. Specified Wire Materials can also be installed in the conduits ready for your final connections. We can supply wire per your specifications or use your supplied wire.
We provide turnkey pole assembly and pole standing for your projects. Depend on our experienced crews to get your pole bases ready to light up. We assemble your provided poles and heads with shielded wire already running through the interior of the pole, stood on our Poured Concrete Bases, ready for final connections.
Short on time or staff? Our crews install conduits, ground clamps, and copper ground wires for light pole bases to ensure a smooth inspection and timely pours. We can use your materials or supply them from our stock.
Galvanized screw in foundations have adjustable bolt circles standard, but can be custom ordered for your specific needs. Screw in Bases are adjustable during and after installation if needed prior to conduit installation. They can even be removed and reinstalled in new locations if we have access for a skid loader or Mini-Excavator. The Galvanized product has been proven to last, with tests showing the Galvanized product still meeting industry requirements after 25 years buried service and could be reused in a new application.

The challenging mess of drilling/setting/pouring, the common complications of fitting bolts into a specified small rebar cage in a small sized base, and the costly removal and replacement costs to adjust or relocate as things change. As an added incentive, per unit installation prices are often less than the concrete bases designed we typically install for projects. The Caisson Company has always believed in providing the best end product for its customers, and we encourage you to explore this option for your current and future project needs.

Bollard lights are typically light weight aluminum fixtures that are 42”-48” tall. Concrete Bases for them are usually 12” diameter by 24-36” deep to hold them in place. During our Testing, we found that the screw in foundations, once in place to depth could not be pulled out of the ground with a 10,000 lbs machine without screwing it out in reverse.
