Meet the Caisson Company Team

The Caisson Company team is an elite collection of field & administrative professionals with the skills and experience needed to produce their daily output at the highest standards of quality, integrity and professionalism. We believe in taking care of each other, exceeding our clients' expectations and prioritizing safety at all times. These shared values, in concert with our thoroughness and insistence on doing the job right, have allowed us to develop lasting relationships with project owners and GCs who continue to invite us to their subsequent projects.

John Christiansen

PRESIDENT/CEO

John began his experience directly out of college in ground-up construction and interior tenant finishes in the field of General Contracting. This would lead to the development of his own company with site-specific trade tasks which he felt would benefit the industry as a missing element to the success of construction projects. Since 2001, John has successfully operated The Caisson Company and brings general contracting, contract management, quality control and personnel management expertise to provide the company and clients with a well-balanced customer-centered full-service experience.

Gregorio Martinez

QUALITY CONTROL SUPERINTENDENT

Gregorio has been a part of The Caisson Company team for over 18 years. He joined the company as a general concrete laborer and quickly was promoted to Concrete Foreman. Through his years of experience, expertise, and innovation, he serves as the company’s Superintendent. He continues to guide our other employees and provide great leadership while utilizing his skills on our growing scope excavating and installing caissons along the Front Range.

Haley Dechant

PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

Haley is the Project Manager/Estimator for the state of Colorado region. She has worked her way up through the company over the past nine years through her hard work, dedication, and passion for what she does. She started as the Administrative Assistant, then Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager upon graduation from UCCS with her BA in Business. During her time at The Caisson Company, she has managed over 100 projects at one time. Her customers appreciate her professionalism and thoroughness to make sure their projects are completed on time with zero discrepancies.

Eddie Nielson

PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

Eddie brings over 10 years of construction experience working his way up from a first year Electrical Apprentice to a Journeyman Electrician, leading crews as a Foreman, before being promoted to a Project Manager role for a large multistate electrical company.  Eddie brings real world construction knowledge to The Caisson Company’s estimating and project management team, to give you the same experience you have grown to expect from our current and former staff. 

Sidney Lopez

OFFICE MANAGER

Sidney has been with The Caisson Company for two years and has grown into a valuable member of the administration team. By organizing payroll, maintaining, and entering data, and managing accounts payable, Sidney can provide general support to the office staff and crew members of The Caisson Company.
